“Rich Girl” It started on a warm and sunny day in Beverly Hills, California. There was two very best friends, a girl named Emily who was a smart, snobby and rich 16 year old who’s father owned two businesses, and Megan who was also a very smart girl, but was a kind a sweet girl to everyone she meets. Tess’s father did not have a job neither did her mother. Her father lost his job 2 years ago and never found one since. ‘’ Emily, wake up its time for School ‘‘ yelled Mrs. Morris down in the kitchen cooking up some breakfast. It was 7:30 am and Emily walked down stairs in a mini skirt and a pink blouse with a pair of pink wedges on her feet with tone jewelry on and a thick layer of mascara on her eyelashes. When Emily left the house she drove in her pink convertible and headed off to school. Emily met Tess at school, Tess was wearing a pear of jeans and a Hollister shirt with Flip Flops. When school ended Emily asked Tess if she could hang out today and go shopping, Tess said ‘’ um, ok, but the thing is I don’t have any money so what would I buy?’’ Emily replied ‘’ well cant you just asked your parents for some they might have some in the wallet right?’’ Tess did not want to disappoint Emily so Tess said ‘’ yeah I can do that ‘’ When the girls got to the mall the first store they went to was Forever21, “I love this shirt, oh and that dress, its gorgeous OMG those shoes are so cute “ said Emily. Tess never stepped foot I a store like this, she had no idea what she was going to buy in fact Tess really didn’t need or want new clothes she was happy with her clothes at home but she found a really pretty pair of earrings they were diamonds. When she found Emily at the checkout line Emily had a full cart of clothes and jewelry and a ton of makeup. After the mall Emily spent the night at Tess’s place. “ Hey Tess why do you have so many boxes in you hallway?” Emily asked “ oh um were just having a garage sale “ lied Tess “ oh cool do you mind if I bring some of my stuff over tomorrow I have a lot of stuff I need to get rid of” said Emily “ um sure if you want to “ replies Tess. The next day Tess was on the couch watching her favorite T.V show Next thing you know, the door bell rings. It was Emily “ oh hey Emily looks like you have a lot of stuff your going to get rid of” said Tess” yeah were going to make a fortune at the garage sale with all this stuff “ said Emily “ Oh yah about the garage sale my mom is really sick and she does not want to have the garage sale until she feels better I’m sorry” lied Tess “ oh ok “ said Emily and drove home in her pink convertible. The next day Tess was sure she was going to tell Emily that she was moving she even practiced how she was going to tell her. When the first bell rang, Tess slipped a note that said Meet me in front of my locker. I need to tell you something really important’. When Emily got the note and was finished reading it she gave a thumbs up to Tess. After second bell Emily met Tess at her locker. Tess was thinking to her self what if she never forgives me about lying to her, and not telling her I was moving in the first place. “ So what’s up, “ asked Emily. “ Ok well there is something I need to tell you and I should have told you right when I found out. But the truth is, I’m moving to Florida.”
